Tallinn is far enough from cities like Paris, London or Rome that it doesn’t get the amount of tourists that it rightfully should, so when you’re there it feels quiet and magical like you’re experiencing history right there! It helps if you go in April when there’s still snow about (but watch out for the school groups from Helsinki coming over for holidays!)
