Main St. is such a vibrant and exciting place to live in Vancouver, one of my absolute fav neighbourhoods. We used to live right across from the Mount Pleasant Community Centre, just to the right in this painting. The famous Lee Building built in 1911 demonstrates the optimism of Mount Pleasant’s developers over a century ago. This area boomed then and over the past decade it is seeing it once again.
