In my opinion Cambie Bridge to downtown is one of the iconic views in Vancouver. This view and as a result this painting, started my obsession with painting cityscapes.

I sat at Vancouver’s City Hall and began this painting and within the urban scene I wanted to capture the changing landscape of the main thoroughfare outside of Downtown, Broadway, with the construction of the Broadway Subway Project. You’ll notice the sign on the left 😉
